ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION

Application Deadline: November 3, 2026

Eligibility

  • Applicants should be within 1-3 years of completing their Ph.D. at the time of the workshop.
  • Or have obtained their Ph.D. in 2024 or later
  • Not currently holding a faculty position.

We recognize that academic paths do not always follow a standard timeline and will consider circumstances for applicants who have had career breaks.

Rising Stars was founded to increase awareness of academic careers among women graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and recent Ph.D. graduates. While the program continues to recognize and highlight the experiences and contributions of women in academia, our workshop welcomes and encourages all eligible applicants to apply.

Please prepare your application materials so that academics outside your area can understand the motivations behind and contributions of your work at a high level.

  • Letter writer’s name and email address
